After an extensive nursing career, Catherine qualified as a solicitor from Otago University in 1987.
Catherine specialises in all areas of Family Law, Elder Protection, Protection of Personal & Property Rights, Maori Land, Conveyancing and Trusts with a particular interest in Elder Abuse matter.
She and her husband have two adult sons.

Michele qualified as a lawyer in 1985. She has worked in the areas of both property and family law. Prior to coming to QuinLaw Michele was the in-house lawyer for a government department, working in the area of child protection. Michele can assist you with property matters, including relationship property, wills and trusts.

Nan specialises in servicing the disability community with specialised advice about Wills, Trusts, Enduring Powers of Attorney, disputes and Welfare and Property applications to the Court.
She also has experience in relationship property matters and works in partnership with others in the firm to access their specialist areas for her clients, such as conveyancing, estates or relationship property. Nan utilises technology to work with clients all over the country. She is based in Hamilton.

Trained in the UK, Sharon left a city practice there to settle in NZ with her Kiwi husband and two small children. They settled in Northland and combined a fun family life with a busy rural law practice. Sharon recently moved to New Plymouth. She focuses on the sale and purchase of businesses, farms, commercial leases, trusts, and commercial and residential conveyancing. She provides a client friendly, approachable and resourceful service focused on solutions and results. When she is not working, she can be found enjoying all things equine, as well as cycling, and exploring the diverse arts and music scene in New Plymouth.

With over 30 years’ experience in the legal industry, Alison brings extensive knowledge to her role as Estate Manager. She specialises in well-crafted Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney, Trusts and other legal structures.
She enjoys helping her clients achieve peace of mind and solutions. She understands the sensitive nature of Wills and will support your family when you are grieving.
Currently living in New Plymouth, Alison has spent many years working as a sharemilker in the region. Alison enjoys spending time with family and friends and enjoying the magnificent Taranaki lifestyle.

Mary joined QuinLaw in 2015 as a Legal Secretary and PA to Catherine Quin. Mary previously worked at Shell, BP Todd and at the Family Court in New Plymouth for nearly 20 years.
Mary’s extensive court experience is invaluable in supporting our legal team. Her expertise in PPPR and family matters, and her caring nature ensure that our most vulnerable clients receive the very best care.
Mary has recently become a very proud first time grandmother and enjoys her family and friends. She is also involved in Church activities, gardening, floristry and following sports.

In the past Marg has been a teacher and Primary School Principal. She brings many skills helpful in providing general administrative support to the experts on the team.
Away from work, Marg keeps busy within her extensive family network, exploring her Polish heritage, culture and language, faith activities, music, gardening and a current renovation project on the family homestead.
