Catherine Quin
Catherine has called Taranaki home for many years and she and her husband have raised their two sons here.
With a passion for helping people, Catherine qualified as a registered general and obstetric nurse in 1976 and subsequently worked around the county and overseas including Africa. Catherine then changed career and qualified as a solicitor from Otago University in 1987. She went on to established a wide base of court experience, wills and trusts.
Catherine has a particular interest in elder abuse matters and was instrumental in advocating and arranging for the Elder Abuse Service to be established here. She is the chairperson of the Advisory Panel for the Elder Abuse Service. Catherine acts as voluntary solicitor for the Taranaki Society for the Blind, Taranaki Head Injury Society, Taranaki Brain Injury, Parents of Deaf Children Taranaki and Lantern Trust.
Catherine specialises in all areas of Family Law, Elder Protection, Protection of Personal & Property Rights, Maori Land, Conveyancing and Trusts.

Gordon Wilson
Gordon was appointed Staff Solicitor at QuinLaw in November 2008. Before embarking on a career in the law, Gordon spent 14 years working for two global corporations that operate within Taranaki.
Gordon is specialising in the areas of Family law and Mental Health law with a particular focus on relationship property matters.
Gordon was appointed Associate of QuinLaw in August 2011.

Michele Riordan
Michele qualified as a lawyer in 1985. She has worked in the areas of both property and family law. Prior to coming to QuinLaw Michele was the in-house lawyer for a government department, working in the area of child protection.

Nan Jensen
Nan specialises in servicing the disability community with specialised advice about Wills, Trusts, Enduring Powers of Attorney, disputes and Welfare and Property applications to the Court.
She also has experience in relationship property matters and works in partnership with others in the firm to access their specialist areas for her clients, such as conveyancing, estates or relationship property. Nan utilises technology to work with clients all over the country. She is based in Hamilton.

Sharon Robinson
Trained in the UK, Sharon left a city practice there to settle in NZ with her Kiwi husband and two small children. They settled in Northland and combined a fun family life with a busy rural law practice. Sharon recently moved to New Plymouth.
She focuses on the sale and purchase of businesses, farms, commercial leases, trusts, and commercial and residential conveyancing. She provides a client friendly, approachable and resourceful service focused on solutions and results. When she is not working, she can be found enjoying all things equine, as well as cycling, and exploring the diverse arts and music scene in New Plymouth.

Maria McCracken
Maria started with Catherine when the firm was just beginning. Prior to that Maria had spent 10 years in banking and then took a ‘privileged’ break from the work force to raise her 4 children.
Maria knows QuinLaw inside out and is able to turn her hand to most tasks within the office. Her background and experience in office management, administration, basic IT and financial management provide invaluable support to Catherine and her team at QuinLaw.
Maria loves spending time with her family and friends, relaxing with a good book or travelling / cruising in sunny destinations.
